What Happens On The Day:

Your ticket for The View from The Shard must be pre-booked so you can arrive and make your way to the attraction, shortening time spent in queues. You can enjoy the experience at your leisure with no time restriction on your visit meaning you can take as long as you like to soak up the breath-taking views. You’ll take the elevator up to the indoor viewing platform on Level 69 and if you’re feeling brave, up to level 72 for a spectacular open-air platform.

After your sightseeing experience, make the short walk across the river to Marco Pierre White's London Steakhouse Co for a three-course meal. On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a refreshing cocktail each before choosing three courses from a set lunch or dinner menu.

Please Note: The London Steakhouse restaurant is not located within The Shard. Please ensure you leave enough time to travel between venues.

  • Adults are deemed to be 18 and over

  • Children are deemed to be between 4 and 17

  • Children aged 3 or under are admitted free of charge

  • All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult

  • There is disabled access to The View - please check for full details at the time of booking

Three-Course Meal at Marco Pierre White's London Steakhouse Co.

  • Minimum age: 18 to enjoy the cocktail. Under 18s will be offered an alternative

  • ​A discretionary 9.5% service charge will be presented with the bill and a £1.50 cover charge per person

Availability:

The View from The Shard can be booked seven days a week throughout the year.

Please note you must pre-book your experience. Failure to do this may result in refused entry.

Last entry varies depending on the time of year - please check for exact timings when booking.

No same day bookings. Bookings can be made from 24 hours in advance, subject to availability, with a valid voucher.

To reduce queues and ensure the best possible visitor experience for everyone, admission to The View will only be valid on the date and time stated on your ticket once a booking has been made with Virgin Experience Days Ltd.

The Voucher has a serial number and a PIN which needs to be quoted when booking. Your e-ticket which will be sent as confirmation of your booking will include a multi-digit order number to gain access into the attraction or The View from The Shard ticket.

A standard visit to The Shard lasts approximately 1 hour, allowing ample time for you to relax and enjoy the city skyline at your leisure as there is no time restriction on your visit.

Three-Course Meal at Marco Pierre White's London Steakhouse Co.

This experience is available seven days a week. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please note that for Friday and Saturday evening bookings reservations can only be made within 48 hours prior to the experience (availability for dinner on Friday and Saturday is released at 09.00 on Wednesday and Thursday respectively of that week). If you choose to book a Friday or Saturday evening, outside of the 48-hour booking window as advised above, then the voucher will be used against the normal priced a la carte menu and the value taken off your final bill.

Please allow approximately 1 hour 45 minutes for your meal.

Please note there is a 48 hour cancellation policy that applies to all meal reservations, after which time you won't be able to amend or cancel a reservation.
